Furano (Hokkaido) native Natsuki Nishimoto graduated from Waseda University and Tokyo University of the Arts. In Spain she completed master\u2019s degree from both the Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Catalunya and the Conservatori Superior de M\u00fasica de Castell\u00f3.
\nShe is particularly partial to Spanish and South American repertory. She has won numerous prizes : 1st prize in the 1st San Giovanni Teatino International Piano Competition, 2nd prize in the 6th Campillos International Piano Competition, 2nd prize in the 2015 Malta International Piano Competition, 3rd prize in the 13th \u201cSpanish Composers\u201c International Piano Competition and 3rd prize in the 15th Jose Roca International Piano Competition.<\/p>\n

A number of contemporary composers have dedicated works to her. In 2012 Russian composer Nikolai Kapustin dedicated two pieces for piano duo to her: \u2018Three for two Op.145\u2019 and \u2018Capriccio Op.146\u2019 and these were premiered in 2014 by her own piano duo ensemble piaNA. In 2018 Spanish composer Pascual Gimeno dedicated \u2018Concert-Estudios de Ritmo, Libros 2\u2019 to her and she has recorded his \u2018Concert-Estudios de Ritmo, Libros1&2\u2019 as world premiere and released the CD from ALM Records in 2020.<\/p>\n

So far she has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including the \u00c7ukurova State Symphony Orchestra, the Northen Rhin Westfallen Orchesterzentrum Chamber Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Osaka Symphony Orchestra et al. In 2017 she gave the European premiere of Kapustin\u2019s 6th Piano Concerto with the City of Barcelona Wind Orchestra, which was broadcast on the local radio station Catalunya Radio.<\/p>\n

In 2018 she participated in the creation of the disk \u2018Le Tombeau de Claude Debussy\u2019 was selected as a Record Geijutsu \u2018tokusenban\u2019 (editor\u2019s choice). At present, she is pursuing her varied career as a solo and chamber musician, treading her own unique path.<\/p>\n

Realiza los estudios de Master en la Universidad de Artes de Tokio con Akiyoshi Sako, en la Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (ESMUC) con Pierre Reach y tambi\u00e9n en el Conservatorio Superior de Castell\u00f3n bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Leonel Morales.<\/p>\n

Ganadora de numerosos premios internacionales como el primer premio en el concurso internacional de piano San Giobannni Teattino (Italia), el segundo premio en el concurso internacional de piano Campillos (Espa\u00f1a) y el concurso internacional de piano de Malta en 2015 (Malta), el tercero premio en el concurso internacional de piano \u201cCompositores de Espa\u00f1a\u201d (Espa\u00f1a) y en el concurso internacional de piano Jose Roca (Espa\u00f1a), la primera medalla en el Concurso de piano de Brest en la categoria de Chopin (Francia), el premio m\u00fasica espa\u00f1ola en el concurso internacional de piano cidade Ferrol (Espa\u00f1a), el premio especial del jurado en el Concurso internacional de piano Teresa Llacuna (Francia), \u201cMost distinguished musicians award\u201dy \u201cmencion especial de Ginastera\u201d en IBLA Grand prize (Italia), el premio de Andr\u00e9s Segovia- Jos\u00e9 Miguel Ru\u00edz Morales en \u201cM\u00fasica en compostela -el curso universitario internacional de m\u00fasica espa\u00f1ola\u201c (Espa\u00f1a) y el diploma de finalista obtenido en el concurso internacional Grieg categoria de piano 4 manos (Noruega),etc.<\/p>\n

Durante estos a\u00f1os ha asistido a diversos cursos de interpretaci\u00f3n pian\u00edstica impartidos por distintos artistas como Boris Berman, Josep Colom, Pavel Gililov, Edith Fischer, Paul Badura-Skoda, Antonio Iglesias, Raul Sosa, Andreas Fr\u00f6lich, Claudio Martinez Mehler, Yuri Didenko, Giuliano Mazzoccante, Karst De Jong y Siegfried Mauser.<\/p>\n

Ha formado parte del d\u00fao de pianos \u201cpiaNA\u201d, con Asuka Sakuma, centr\u00e1ndose en las obras del compositor ruso Nikolai Kapustin, quien mezcla entre el piano virtuoso cl\u00e1sico y el lenguaje del jazz. El mismo compositor les dedic\u00f3 dos obras Three for two op.145 para 2 pianos y Capriccio op.146 para piano 4 manos, en 2012, a\u00f1o en el que el d\u00fao grab\u00f3 un cd \u201cpiaNA plays Kapustin\u201d exclusivamente con piezas de este artista. En abril de 2014 estrenaron estas dos obras dedicadas.<\/p>\n

Ha actuado por Espa\u00f1a, Jap\u00f3n, Francia, Italia, Grecia, Turquia, Suiza, Canada, Estonia y tambien ha aparecido como solista con diversas orquestas. En Espa\u00f1a ha actuado en varias salas de concierto como L\u2019auditori, Palau de la Musica Catalana, Palau de la Musica Valencia, Centro Cultural Medina Elvira de Atarfe, Auditorio de Castell\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
